About MEAGAN

Hello!

Meagan Osborne is a native Californian, multidisciplinary artist, designer, hospitality operator, and guest experience consultant interested in the details that shape how we experience a place, an object, or an idea. She began working in restaurants at 18 while earning a BFA in 2D Design and came to see hospitality as a deeply creative world shaped by food, atmosphere, conversation, and human connection.

After graduating, she founded Brown Pigeon, a creative company through which she created thousands of hand-carved rubber stamps, sold products internationally, and wrote Put Your Stamp On It, published by Chronicle Books. Her practice has since expanded into collage, ceramics, concept design, teaching, events, and spatial thinking. Her hospitality career evolved alongside it, most recently as General Manager of Botanica in Los Angeles, with earlier experience at Bib Gourmand-recognized Canon in East Sacramento.

Today, those parallel paths come together through The Art of Attention, her consulting practice for hospitality and place-based businesses. She is currently based in Pacific Grove, where her love of California history, hospitality, and distinctive local places continues to shape her work. When she is not making art or thinking about places, she can be found volunteering with senior dogs or sharing a good meal with her partner, Alex, somewhere along the California coast.
